"The Pirates of Penzance was a perfect pick-me-up on a Spring evening. The playful, polished, professional show was a pleasantly piratical introduction to Gilbert & Sullivan for a good number of patrons. What a show! Congratulations to all!"

We are delighted that our 2016 production of 'Iolanthe' was nominated for 3 awards  at the BATS Dinner and that our 2015 production of 'The Mikado' won 'Best G&S' at the recent NODA Awards.

New Rosemere in Concert

On Saturday 17th February, 7.30pm at St. Paul's Church, Astley Bridge.

Join us for an evening of songs from musicals old and new, including: My Fair Lady, Jekyll and Hyde, South Pacific, Wicked, Les Mis, Mamma Mia and many, many more. 

Tickets at only £8 are available on the door, although to avoid disappointment we suggest you get your tickets in advance.

We are now half way through our concert rehearsals and preparations are going well.

It promises to be a great evening's entertainment, with songs from Abba, Irving Berlin, Wartime Classics, Gilbert & Sullivan and Songs from the Shows.

It features our own very talented singers (including four NODA nominees). There'll be some fantastic solos and duets to enjoy as well as all the chorus work.

Unfortunately, it is now too late to join us to take part in the concert, but if you would like to join the Society and be in our next show, 'Ruddigore', in March 2014, please do get in touch. Rehearsals start after the concert.
